On January 8, 16 of us from Louisville Presbyterian Seminary will begin our journey through Israel and Palestine. But we actually began our journey together this fall, as we have prepared by reading books, teaching and discussing with one another, and worshipping with Jews, Muslims, and Eastern Orthodox Christians in Louisville.
This is the first pilgrimage to the middle east for most of our group. It is my 10th, but each one of them has been different because of the people I have traveled with, through whose fresh eyes I have seen our journeys.
This time nine students are traveling, along with three professors, three retirees, and one pastor who is an alum of Louisville Seminary. I will let them introduce themselves to you as they sign on to the blog. Thank you so much for following us on this journey!
